Father captures nightmare fuel moment his son is swallowed by a massive whale... before being spit back up
According to the interweb, there is no evidence a human has ever been swallowed by a whale and survived in the last 100 years. Additionally, if you find yourself in these unfortunate circumstances, the chances of surviving are slim to none. However, one kayaker survived being briefly trapped in a humpback's mouth and has lived to tell the story.
NEW: Kayaker gets “eaten” and spit out by a humpback whale off the coast of Chile.
"Stay calm, stay calm," the man's father could be heard saying in the video.
The man, Adrián Simancas, says he thought the whale had swallowed him.

This is exactly why I don't mess with the ocean, as you end up dropping to the bottom of the food chain.
According to CBS:
Last Saturday, Adrián Simancas was kayaking with his father, Dell, in Bahía El Águila near the San Isidro Lighthouse in the Strait of Magellan when a humpback whale surfaced, engulfing Adrián and his yellow kayak for a few seconds before letting him go.
"Stay calm, stay calm," he can be heard saying after his son was released from the whale's mouth.
I don’t think there would be anything more infuriating to me than hearing someone tell me to “stay calm” after surviving almost becoming a whale’s dinner, but that is neither here nor there. In fact, he did remain calm and handled the situation better than most people could have.
I thought I was dead," Adrián told The Associated Press. "I thought it had eaten me, that it had swallowed me."
He described the "terror" of those few seconds and explained that his real fear set in only after resurfacing, fearing that the huge animal would hurt his father or that he would perish in the frigid waters.
"When I came up and started floating, I was scared that something might happen to my father too, that we wouldn't reach the shore in time, or that I would get hypothermia," Adrián said.
They both left the scene physically unharmed, although I doubt they will be going kayaking again anytime soon.
