Well, it looks like the federal government is finally choosing to act on information we here at Louder with Crowder Dot Com have known for ages. Our government: Only run by the best people.

In an article over at Mediaite, they report that Joe Biden's Federal Communications Commissioner Brendam Carr wrote a letter to the CEOs of Apple and Google, asking that the "sophisticated surveillance tool" TikTok be removed from their respective app stores.

Now, to those of us who know what TikTok and its parent company ByteDance are all about, this sounds like a good move. Mediaite sounds lukewarm about the idea, at best, making a point to say that Carr is a hangover from the previous Trump administration.

Carr says in the letter that TikTok is a "serious national security threat" currently collecting "vast troves of sensitive data" about those Americans who choose to download and utilize it. Now, that sounds pretty bad to me, and I am not what one would call an avid TikTokker. But I guess there aren't many people who find themselves concerned about the Chinese "repeatedly access[ing] the sensitive data" collected by the app.

TikTok is three things. It's a place where idiots go to vomit the kind of stupidity they would never air in polite company, where those of us with brains might find ourselves linked to after getting a glimpse of one of the first group of people posts something stupid, and it's where the CCP goes to dig up info. I guess it's also where Biden goes to produce his own propaganda, too...

Now, I can find a new place to go to find pro-abortion feminists lose their sh*t. I will not be upset if the app goes the way of the dodo bird. Leftists will just have to find a new place to post their recorded temper tantrums.
