It turns out that when a bureaucratic organization prioritizes “equity” above life, you get the disaster that continues to unfold in North Carolina.

North Carolina residents continue to fight for survival while FEMA has barely made an appearance. Any help these hurricane victims have received seems to have mostly come from private citizens or companies.

One of the reasons why FEMA has done much of nothing may or may not have something to do with believing “equity” is more important than saving people stranded in flooded zones.

According to The Post Millennial:

Almost 150 people are dead, thousands dispossessed and millions without power because of Hurricane Helene’s path of destruction through six states, yet the Biden-Harris administration’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has been revealed to be focused on “equity” as part of their top goals.

FEMA’s 2022-2026 strategic plan outlines its three “ambitious goals” – the first is ensuring that equity is the focus of any catastrophe or emergency. The Category 4 storm may have left a wasteland along the Southern Atlantic coast but FEMA, the federal agency tasked with responding to disaster relief after a hurricane, is firmly focused on equity so communities can “address the increasing range and complexity of disasters” within their “diverse” sphere, according to its strategic plan.

I know that the left thinks skin color can dictate the direction of the wind but this is asinine. Not only are they acting foolishly in one of the worst natural disasters in a long time but they are leading by skin color.

What does it even mean to ensure “equity is the focus of any catastrophe or emergency?” Are they implying they will leave White people for dead solely because they despise their skin tone? Because not only is this illegal but it’s intentionally negligent, to say the very least.

Question: Would that White family who died waiting for help on top of their roof be alive today had the government not favored one skin color over another? Would seven-year-old Micah be here today had the government pretended to care?

While two grandparents and their nephew were desperately waiting for help, FEMA seemed to only care about skin color as “the focus of any catastrophe or emergency.”

“Wide-ranging and long-term, the goals defined in the plan respond to the changing landscape in which we find ourselves. While some activities in this plan can be quickly realized, some will require efforts through 2026,” the plan states.

“The plan outlines three bold, ambitious goals to meet this challenge,” the site continued. “These goals position FEMA to address the increasing range and complexity of disasters, support the diversity of communities we serve, and complement the nation’s growing expectations of the emergency management community.”

So does that mean the people of Asheville continue to beg for help because it’s 85 percent White? If they were 85 percent Black would FEMA care?

To call this evil would be an understatement.

The government's lack of response to this crisis is a perfect example of a future with Kamala. Not only does this administration favor foreign nationals at the expense of American citizens but they have barely even spoken on this.

Why has Kamala not said anything about Micah? Does she not care? Shouldn’t they be doing everything humanly possible to get these people help?

The government hates you and could care less about being morally correct as long as they are politically correct. And to call that tyrannical would be an understatement.
