What kind of world are we living in where uber-gayness can't even be celebrated without it being politicized? Toronto Pride held their annual parade and invited Toronto Black Lives Matter to march because...I don't know, solidarity in protected classes or something. Victims of a feather and all that.

It didn't end well...

“Black Lives Matter is not going to tell us that there is no more floats anymore in the parade,” Chantelois said in an interview Monday on local news station CP24.

“Pride is bigger than Black Lives Matter,” he added. “That is the kind of decision that needs to be made by the community.”

Wait a second. I like where this is going. I mean, I really like where this is going.

However, in an interview on CTV News Channel, Chantelois appeared open to the idea of taking police floats out of the parade.

“Personally, I think police are already all over the parade because there are a lot of officers everywhere in uniform,” he said. “So having them walking instead of being on a float will not be the end of the world for me.”

Several members of Black Lives Matter Toronto sat down in the middle of Yonge Street Sunday, bringing the parade to a halt. It resumed 30 minutes later when Chantleois signed their list of demands.

The demands include no police floats in future parades or police booths at the festival, a doubling of funding for the 18-year-old black-focused party Blockorama, a permanent Black queer youth stage, a South Asian-focused stage, and more American Sign Language interpretation provided by Black deaf and hearing interpreters.

Oh dip! Just because #BlackLivesMatter and the LGBTQAAIP community consist of whiners and professional victims, doesn't mean they can't throw down. This is getting brutal!

See, this is the inevitable end-game for today's SJW left. In creating a hierarchy of victimized classes, some classes will inevitably claim victimhood over not being a victimized ENOUGH class. Make sense? It shouldn't.

Here's the deal: parades, hashtags, social media police, grants, scholarships, festivals and television specials... "victimhood" is a good business in the USA today. One of the quickest roads to success in the USA today, is ironically that of professional victimhood. Why do you think that you have Rachel Dolezal and Shaun King, both white people, competing to become black "victims"? Why do you think feminists perpetuate the verifiably false "wage gap" myth? Because without the drapery of "victimhood" many of these hucksters would be judged on their own merits. That's a terrifying proposition. Better stick with the victimhood.

This is why the left is imploding...

Though, the parade could have been drastically worse. I guess we have to look at the silver lining.
