As a northerner, everything I know about Waffle House I know from the viral videos. The drunken Luke Combs sing-a-longs at 3 am look like fun. Our version of the Waffle House is diners. Every town has them. They never close. You can stumble in after the bar for a plate of cheese fries and a pot of coffee. Diners are the spot up north.

But it rarely ever pops off like this.

I actually did some research to see when this took place. You never know with videos going viral on the bird app, and it's not like I haven't been fooled before. Brawls between Waffle House employees and customers. Then there's this guy.

I wonder if part of your Waffle House training, besides how to make waffles and a decent pot of coffee, includes a minimum of fifty hours at the local boxing club. Or if the pugilistic skills are more on-the-job training. Just saying, the employee looks like he's been in a few scraps before.

However, the real hero in this video? My man recording the brawl who had the wherewithal to have Gonna Fly Now from Rocky playing in the background. That's a guy who understands the content! Plus, casually dropping "can I get a waffle" as the brawl breaks out, he understands the value of branding with a good tagline. For that alone, I give this video a 10/10.
