In case you're wondering why so many of us don't trust Obama's "watch list" gun control scheme, other than the due process issues that not everyone understands, it's because of this. Well, it's because of this and the pesky Second Amendment which ensures our right to weapons. But Obama's flagrant abuse of the law, as seen here, is just another reason we don't trust the cretin. Or his thuggish cohorts.

The Obama administration placed American veterans on a terror watch list in 2009. Veterans. As in they served in the military. For America. Put on a terror watch list...

On today's front page of The Washington Times, the national commander of the American Legion, David K. Rehbein, was quoted as saying: "I think that it is important for all of us to remember that Americans are not the enemy. The terrorists are." He blasted Napolitano's new "security" assessment report entitled: "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Polticial Climate Fueling Resurgence and Recruitment."

The new Obama report cites Timothy McVeigh as an example of a right-wing extremist and a "disgruntled military veteran." Mr. Rehbein challenged the Obama report on this score also saying: "To continue to use McVeigh as an example of the stereotypical 'disgruntled military veteran' is as unfair as using Osama bid Laden as the sole example of Islam."

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich said that the bureaucrat who drafted this "outrageous homeland security memo smearing veterans and conservatives should be fired." On the contrary, the head of the Department of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, who issued this maliciousness against American veterans ought to be fired and Barack Obama should do it today.

It's not just people who are a threat to the country. It can be anyone who has a different opinion than the President. You think I'm being a paranoid rabble-rouser? No. See news story above. Veterans. On the terror-watch list. Because Tim McVeigh or something.

These lists are arbitrary. They're egregious. Yes I realize I'm using some hyperbolic terms here. Situation warrants it. Go read No Fly, No Guns? The point is if you're placed on a list and stripped of rights without due process, the list could be called "Super Meanies of the Realm" and it still wouldn't change the bigger problem. The government cannot take away your rights without due process. It's a Fifth Amendment issue. Go watch Trey Gowdy cream a borderline functionally retarded bureaucrat on the issue here. Advice? Bring popcorn.

So riddle me this liberals, do you want President Trump having this power? Would you want a President Trump to decide who should and should not have an X Amendment right? The "X" there is not a typo. Which right do you like best? Do you want a president to kill it by putting you on a list for pick your reason, without due process? Yeah, didn't think so.

Also, the Second Amendment is timeless. Don't be a twit who says otherwise.
