Florida sheriffs are built different. When they aren't encouraging homeowners to swiss-cheese-up intruders, or busting rhymes after busting dealers, they are turning their most wanted list into fun YouTube content. Add Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods to the list. He was briefing the press on a triple murder when they wanted to turn it into a gun control lecture.

Nope.

Three Marion County teens were killed over the weekend. One of the suspects is only twelve-years-old. Had this been New York or Los Angeles, the district attorney would be blaming the gun as the media humanized the killer. We saw this with the transgender shooter (he/him) in Nashville where there are people who count THE KILLER as a victim.

In Florida, Sheriff Woods pointed out how some refuse to hold our juveniles accountable for anything. Also, this is key. The gun was STOLEN. Because the two suspects also robbed cars.

All the gun laws we got in place didn't prevent it, did it? Neither will any new ones. Because here's the fact: the bad guy's gonna get a gun no matter what law you put in place.

Earlier, Sheriff Woods blasted people who "who want to blame the one thing that has no ability or the capacity to commit the crime itself, and that's the gun." He emphasized that "[these three] individuals committed the crime."

One would assume a top lawman would support gun "safety' measures that the left and the media (but I repeat myself) are obsessed with. After all, it has the word "safety" in it instead of "control" and that makes total difference. Sheriff Woods understands how crime works. Society is sick. We need to fix THAT.
