France: land of fine cuisine, smelly cheese, snooty people (or so the stereotypes say). Now we have a new bullet point for the list. Spoiler alert, sometimes bullets are actually used. Because it's only been a few days since France's latest terror attack (see Horrific Terrorist Attack in Nice, France. Cowardly Media calls it 'Truck Attack'). When the French Prime Minister told his people they would have to 'learn to live with terrorism,' he must have meant it as more than just a metaphor, because... Well, here we are again.

A knifeman attacked [a] woman and her three daughters, aged 8, 12, and 14, in south-east France, at around 10:30 this morning because they were 'scantily dressed.' The attacker, named locally as Moroccan-born Mohamed Boufarkouch, was later arrested... The victims are believed to have been wearing shorts and t-shirts at the time.

The attacker was on holiday with his own family, including two children. He reportedly fled after the attack, leaving behind his family and wife 'in tears.' At a press conference today, the Prosecutor said so far there was no motive.

I love how the prosecutor is all "No, we're super confused about the motive. Nobody, like, jump to conclusions or anything. WE MUST INVESTIGATE!"

Details of the incident are still being released, but let's recap what we know. A dude named 'Mohamed' was triggered into a knifing spree. All because a woman and her children were showing too much skin. From my own poolside experiences, this isn't what we'd deem "normal." Could be these chicks on vacation were just taking all the pool noodles, right? Then they totally deserved to get stabbed, regardless of their swimwear choices.

But methinks pool noodles or taking the last lounge chair under an umbrella wasn't as motivating as perhaps Islam may have been. Because, after all, Stabby McStabberson is from Morocco. It's not like we're talking Saudi Arabia here, right? ...Right?

Morocco's population is 99% Islamic. Ergo doing a wee bit of math, it's safe to say there's a chance this guy is a Muslim. I can't say for sure, but I'd wager the likelihood is somewhere in the region of... 99%. But, as always, we should wait for the facts before making any assumptions. Let's hope this time the facts don't get censored (watch CENSORED: White House Edits Video of French President Saying 'Islamist Terrorism').

To be fair, France probably recognizes Islamic terrorism pretty easily by now. It usually involves acts of violence for no reason, or senseless reasons. Like wearing t-shirts and shorts. While female.

This isn't France's first Ramadan rodeo. It's possible they're trying to avoid spooking their people with talk of more jihad. You wouldn't want to, like, screen immigrants or anything. That would be racist. Or something. No, no, France is just going to carry on as normal. A woman and her daughters were just stabbed by a 99% chance he's a Muslim man. But right, motive is still "unknown."

Still, one can't help but wonder if France's reluctance to address Islam got the country in this situation in the first place. The situation being large acts of terrorism, like a mass shooting or "truck attack," coupled with smaller acts of a terroristy nature. Like a stabbing spree.

The fact that Islamic terrorism is considered a dirty word probably helps none. But hey, what do I know? I'm just an islamophobe. And if you read this post and agreed with any part of it, you are too.
