France, Germany, and Australia are in a neck-in-neck race to see which country becomes the next USSR. All have some form of vaccine passport. Australia will ship you away to the COVID camps if you happen to come in contact with someone with the virus. And France, well, you’re just not a citizen anymore if you don’t go get your jab… And all your boosters… And continue to stay up to date on all those boosters…

In a recent interview with Le Parisien, French President Emmanuel Macron announced, “I am not about pissing off the French people… But as for the non-vaccinated, I really want to piss them off. And we will continue to do this, to the end, This is the strategy.”

He literally placed the unvaccinated French in a separate category from the French citizenry. And just in case you read that tidbit and think, “Nah, it was just him misspeaking,” think again, folks.

“[Y]ou will no longer be able to go to the restaurant. You will no longer be able to go for a coffee, you will no longer be able to go to the theatre. You will no longer be able to go to the cinema. […] When my freedoms threaten those of others, I become someone irresponsible. Someone irresponsible is not a citizen.”

Macron’s comments were met with condemnation from some of his political rivals.

Marine Le Pen, who currently polls the best in a matchup against Macron in the upcoming French elections, accused the sitting president of “persisting in division” and “seeking to ‘make the non-vaccinated second-class citizens’.”

From his own words, it sounds like Macron would rather the unvaccinated not be citizens at all, but I guess Le Pen is being nicer than me. Regardless, it looks like there aren’t enough voices in the French government on the side of Le Pen, as the parliament recently approved Macron’s radical new move to exclude all unvaccinated from nearly all of public life.

This looks like just one step closer to the unpersoning of the unvaccinated. And it’s rather appropriate that a country like France would be the tip of the spear in this regard. Does no one read history books anymore?
