In an attempt to dunk on Elon Musk, California Governor Gavin Newsom just signed a law making Kamala Harris's X-Twitter account illegal in California. Kinda. He doesn't realize what he said. And I'm sure there is a carve-out for misinformation that he agrees with and/or helps his side politically.

Our journey begins in July with this hilarious video mocking Kamala Harris's installation as a candidate after the media couldn't hide Joe Biden's obvious cognitive decline, which was obvious to everyone except the media. Note the use of the word "PARODY" in this post. Meriam-Webster defines parody as "a work in which the style of an author or work is closely imitated for comic effect or in ridicule."

Newsom got angry, and like all good progressive douchelords, when he gets angry, he passes laws stripping rights from Americans. Yesterday, he signed a law that IN HIS OWN WORDS states you can no longer knowingly distribute an ad or other election communications that contain materially deceptive content in the state of California.
I just signed a bill to make this illegal in the state of California.

Chipping away at free speech is all the rage among leftists. And while I too believe that, once elected, Donald Trump's government should be the one deciding what is misinformation on the Internet, the First Amendment is First for a reason.
But Newsom doesn't think so. That's why he -- again, these are HIS WORDS -- made it so you can no longer knowingly distribute an ad or other election communications that contain materially deceptive content in the state of California.
That means California Senator and Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris's campaign X-Twitter account is now illegal. I don't make the rules.
CNN’s @ddale8 reports on @KamalaHQ’s viral disinfo posts and deceptive editing used to mislead the public about the elections. @elonmusk, Community Notes has struggled with fact checking the posts because of mass downvoting by Democrat partisans. https://t.co/J7s40lb8a2 pic.twitter.com/3vB7kAQYzp

Meriam-Webster defines slippery slope as "a course of action that seems to lead inevitably from one action or result to another with unintended consequences."
