Gavin Newsom is running campaign ads in Florida. Yes, Newsom is running for reelection as governor of California. Yes, California isn't Florida. We'll get to why he's doing this in a bit. But first, here's his ad, where he says a lot of sh*t that isn't true and invites Floridians to move to California. Where, unlike in Florida, they have "freedom." Or "freedom" as defined by Gavin Newsom.

"I urge all of you to join us in California where we still believe in freedom."

Newsom left out the freedom for criminals to choose if they're incarcerated in a men's or women's prison depending on how they identify that day. He also left out the freedom to cross the border and move to Mexico because Newsom Democrats have turned California crime-infested and unaffordable.

A spokesman for DeSantis's re-election campaign said, "LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL."

The ad is paid for by Newsom for California Governor 2022 and is Newsom's first TV spot for his reelection. His first TV spot is NOT in the state he is running in but in another state that also happens to be a presidential swing state. The reason why is for the same reason Newsom announced he's joining Trump's "Truth Social" platform. The streets are talking, and they're saying Newsom is running for president in 2024.

Or he wants people to talk about him running for president in 2024, in case Joe Biden realizes he's too old and incompetent and decides not to run for reelection. Newsom wants to run on the platform to bring California policies to the rest of America. Attempting to get Ron DeSantis to notice him and call him pretty was a part of him laying groundwork.

And that groundwork is framing a potential 2024 race as "Make America California" vs. "Make America Florida." Good luck with that one, Slappy.
