As everyone knows, only terrible things come from Europe: Hitler, Haggis, Hummels, and now homosexual-friendly walk signs.

The city of Vienna in Austria has introduced new pedestrian traffic signals that feature same sex couples holding hands, walking together, with little hearts over their heads. It is important that the reader understand that this is a real and not made up thing that is actually happening in a real city where people live and cross streets.

The purpose of the campaign, city press officer Andreas Baur says, is mainly "raising awareness for traffic safety."

Baur said the lights were also changed from the gender-neutral figures to mark the annual Eurovision Song Contest, which has a large LGBTQ following, and an upcoming AIDS charity, Lifeball, in Vienna.

Let's be clear here: they are not gender-neutral signs They have gender. That is, in fact, why they are called "same sex". Not gender neutral. And not really about traffic safety either. But they are very gay. Like, super gay.

I cannot stress enough how not fake these pictures are.

There is no official explanation for why the male couple decided to "Walk Like An Egyptian" .. maybe it's a multi-cultural thing. Still, this is nothing compared to the city's plans for the new vehicle traffic signals.

This one might be slightly less real.
