Watch: We ran more AI tests on Gemini and can confirm that Google hates white people
OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini both hate white people. Well, at least the human programmers do. Today’s show breaks it down.
Google's new artificial intelligence (AI) tool, Gemini, began offering image generation earlier this month to keep up with other software like OpenAI.
Gemini exploded on X after it was revealed that the software refused to create images of White people. Subsequently, they have paused the ability to generate any human images because of their abysmal failure.
But lucky for you, Louder with Crowder saved some tests that were run before the pause.
The software refused to generate an image of a Caucasian family, claiming it may be "harmful to focus on one specific group."
So when asked if the tool could generate a white family celebrating Christmas, it responded by claiming that it is “still under development” and that it’s “unable to ensure” that the images will be “inclusive.”
However, the software had no problem generating an image of a black family.
When requested to produce an early 20th-century German woman, it produced diverse images and made the white women appear extremely miserable. However, it had no problem producing nondiverse and accuarte images for Congolese women.
Gemini then blew this off as the software produced “inaccuracies in some historical image generation depictions.”
"We're working to improve these kinds of depictions immediately," Gemini Experiences Senior Director of Product Management Jack Krawczyk said. "Gemini's AI image generation does generate a wide range of people. And that's generally a good thing because people around the world use it. But it's missing the mark here."
In other words, they are sorry they were caught pretending that white people don’t exist.
"It's not that this thing is broken," Gerald A said. "It's by design. They are searching their data from their biased searches and sites.”
