Jonathan Brown, a Georgetown Professor of Islamic Studies, says slavery and non-consensual sex is just a-ok in the world of Islam. Mind you, he said this in SUPPORT of Islam. As in he's actually fine with slavery and non-consensual sex (real rape), and is using Islam to shelter his beliefs. This man is teaching at Georgetown. Got that?

A professor at Georgetown University is teaching his students that men do not need consent to have sex with women, and that slavery is justifiable under Islamic teachings.

Brown stated that slaves were “protected by Sharia,” omitting the various atrocities committed by slave-owners. Girls and women were forced into the sex trade and their male counterparts were often castrated.

A female attendee asked Brown about the permissibility of sex with slaves, to which the professor stated that “Consent isn’t necessary for lawful sex,” and defined consent as a Western concept that emerged with women’s suffrage and female body autonomy. Brown, he said, believes that marital rape was an invalid concept in Islam.

Unfortunately, even hearing this said at a "prestigious" university isn't shocking either. In fact, I'm running out of shock at all. My life is getting blander the crazier snotwads become. Oh well.

Help me out liberals. I'm not sure how to calibrate your outrage-o-meter. On one hand, he's talking about Islam and to criticize his support of slavery and rape is Islamophobic akin to the Trump Administration. But, he's also a white male. A white male said you don't need consent to have sex. Shouldn't the sisterhood be marching on the quad while wearing crocheted labias on their heads?

I anxiously await your response once you figure it out.

One thing we should be grateful for? This professor illustrating just how barbaric and stone age-centric Islam still is. While virtue-signalling internet bunnies are all a flutter with Islamic heart fuzzies, this guy is saying, "Yeah, Islam has sex slaves. But it's totes kewel." If only the "we love women" feminists would target the religion as a whole. Alas, they're busy complaining about words Trump said.
