If you trans your child, you are glorified as if you are saving your kid from abuse. However, if your son walks home in a small town in Georgia you are arrested and face a year in prison.

An 11-year-old boy walked to the dollar store alone, and the mother was charged with reckless conduct.

A mother was charged after deputies said her child walked less than a mile to the store from their north Georgia home.

On Oct. 30, Fannin County deputies were called to the area of Mineral Bluff Highway and Georgia 60 regarding a child in the road.

A witness told deputies they saw a young boy walking down the road and into the Dollar General. According to authorities, when the witness asked the boy if he was OK, he said “yes.” She asked if he needed help, he said “no.”

She asked where his parents were and what his mother’s name was and he told her she worked at the post office and her name was Brittany Patterson,41. She asked if he needed help again and he said “never mind” and he then ran behind a fire station.’

As punishment, the state is trying to impose a “safety plan” that is probably unconstitutional and a serious violation of government overreach.

This plan “includes terms so that this child is NEVER left unsupervised and that a tracking device is on him or his phone (with the Case Manager watching Brit download the tracking app to his phone),” according to the GoFundMe fundraising money for her defense.

The problem with this is that the state has no right to monitor her son and it’s disgusting how they imply they can parent better than she can.

It’s not like he was five years old and lost and it’s insane how authorities want to parent how she parents her child. This paternalistic behavior of the nanny state must end and the mother should not acquiesce to these tyrannical demands.

It’s not like he was walking on Skid Row or was in any danger. The only harm caused here is coming from government overreach and this is political power the founders never intended for the state to have.

It’s unclear if authorities have nothing better to do and they are just painfully bored but this is proof of how useless these people are and there’s no reason why any government worker involved in this should still have a job.
