Here’s Why You’re Hurting Women…). Yet every so often, we are bestowed a gift of sanity from the dark lords of the feminist realm. Germaine Greer, a famous matriarch of the women's movement, doesn't think transwomen are real women.

Come close, ye children, and grant thine ears these words of wisdom.

“I'm not saying that people should not be allowed to go through that procedure. What I'm saying is it doesn't make them a woman. It happens to be an opinion. It's not a prohibition. Carry on, if that's what you think it is you want to do. I've been accused of inciting violence against transexual people. That's absolute nonsense.”

 "I think that a great many women don’t think post-operative, or even non-post-operative transsexual, M-to-F, transsexual people sound like or behave like women. But they dare not say so.... Not everybody does feel comfortable, by the way, post-operatively. There have been a couple of case, I found very interesting, where the actual acceptor of the procedure has felt that it’s been a disaster.”

 Commenting further on sex-reassignment surgery, Greer said "it’s also a problem if what you have to do after gender reassignment is use steroids every day of your life. That’s not a happy outcome either.”

Firstly, let me just say I like this woman's sass. Not ass. Pervert. The seasoned lady has some wise words. Now if we could get all feminists to say such things, we could be friendly to one another, hold hands, maybe even skip gayly down the road. Not that kind of gayly. Double pervert.

But seriously, kudos to Germaine. She's speaking up for rationalism at the risk of being cannibalized by her fellow feminists. And she gives zero craps if they do.

In a time where leftists ensure reason is snuffed out and silenced on a regular basis, it's a huge deal for cultural leaders to side with reality. We should celebrate these moments. They're becoming more of a rarity.
