It's just been a few days since France managed to trigger tons of leftists (see Cannes, France Enforces Burkini Ban. Liberals Rage...). And now Germany is going in the same direction. It seems the two have been playing hijab handball in recent months (see France Says Enough! Fights Islam by Banning Burkinis and Germany Fights Back. Following France's recent move, the ball is in Germany's court. Or at least it was, until this happened...

The mayor of a German town fired a Muslim intern on her first day of work because she refused to take off her headscarf, local media reported. [She said] she did not want to do so in the presence of men.

Mayor Elisabeth Herzog-von der Heide wasted no time in firing the Palestinian woman, starting that wearing a headscarf violated the religious neutrality of town hall. "The Islamic headscarf is a means of expressing a religious worldview," Herzog-von der Heide told German media on Wednesday...

She admitted that the town hall should have asked the woman about her position on removing headscarves prior to hiring her, and vowed that it would do so in the future.

Yep, Germany just did that. As in Angela Merkel's Germany. The place that covered up mass migrant rape because political correctness. It appears they've turned over a new leaf - one considerably less rapey. After being subjected to Islamic culture for the past year, Germans are fed up. They want their culture back.

Before you accuse the German mayor of going too far: don't. Remember, this isn't America. Germany doesn't have a First Amendment. So applying American law to Germany won't work. Okay? Okay.

Religious attire not allowed.

Imagine walking into work wearing a religious garb. To make it more fun, pretend your some kind of Shaman or voodoo witch doctor. This is for illustrative purposes only, it's not racism. Try to have some fun here. Now, the rule of your new employer is no religious attire at work. Including your fancy head dress and bear tooth neckless. But you say no. You killed that bear fairly. You refuse to comply with both your work's rules and your boss. It's not appropriate work attire - it's distracting, and in this case it doesn't reflect the values of the employer. Don't like it? Find another job. I hear the halal market is hiring.

Look, this issue isn't about ordering women around. Yes, we're done with the voodoo witch doctor analogy, back to Islam. This story is about cultural assimilation. Also, the added bonus of telling Islam to "Screw off." Germany doesn't do burkas in the work place. But they're not demanding women waltz around in cocktail dresses either. They're trying to eradicate the prevalence of extremism.

The nature of head coverings is one that falls under oppression no matter which way you slice it (though the Quran would recommend laterally across the neck). We're not talking hats or scarves here. Muslim women aren't making a fashion statement. They're submitting to an order issued by a theocracy. One that, should they disobey, warrants violent punishment (see Muslim Girl Refuses to Wear Headscarf. Refugees Erupt Into Riot).

While western feminists and liberals are upset over Europe's latest hijab laws, Muslim women continue to suffer under Islamic oppression. But no matter, as long as they're able to wear a headscarf to work, right?
