GERMANY: Parents Fined... For Not Sending Their Child to Visit a Mosque?!
Mosques are weird joints. Not exactly the kind of place you'd wheelbarrow your kids off to, understandably, what with all the sexism and bomb-making. It's not too surprising these parents decided they'd rather not dump little Johnny Hansel off at school for an afternoon visit to the local mosque. They had their reasons, mostly to do with things like "safety." But apparently those reasons weren't good enough for authorities, so now those parents might go to court...
Parents of a German teenager may face a trial and fine for "truancy" after refusing to allow their son to go to a local mosque on a school field trip...Parents of a 13-year-old student opposed the idea of their son visiting a mosque in the northern German town of Rendsburg, reportedly organized as part of a geography class.
The teen's father argued that his son would be "indoctrinated" in the mosque. He went on to say that "for years we have been hearing reports about religiously-motivated violence connected with Islamic people."
A local education authority subsequently fined the couple a total of $328, referring to school regulations and regional laws which include penalties for truancy. When the parents opposed the fine, their case was forwarded to a local prosecutor, who will decide whether or not to proceed with a court trial.
A number of things here, one of which should be obvious. If the parents of a child have an issue with where their child goes during the day, should they not have the final say? You know, with them being the parents and all that? Think on that one.
Authorities slapped this family with a fine for missing a field trip. Seems like overkill. Just based on the above paragraph. My guess is field trips work much differently in Germany than in America. Less fun and more fascism.
One can't help but suspect that a single missed day of school wasn't the real reason behind the whopping fine. After all, Europe tends to prioritize political correctness above all else. Would the parents have been fined had the parents objected to, say, a Catholic Cathedral? Jewish Synagogue? I'm just asking.
What about parental rights?
Of course, we wouldn't expect anything less from Germany (see 'Angela Merkel: Germany is Ravaged by Terrorism... But We Want More Refugees!'). Remember, western politicians praise Germany for its policies... Meanwhile, the German people themselves? They live with the result of those policies. They don't seem to like it much (see VOTING UPSET: Germany Says 'Enough!' With Islamic Migrants and Political Correctness). Not that German government gives a Heil. As demonstrated here.
When it comes to protecting people from not so radical Islam, the German government is the bratwurst. Now a family can't even say "nein" to a school trip involving mosques... Lest they be tried for racism, Islamophobia, or whatever the current leftist accusation du jour is. Also, they have to pay $300 for insulting Muhammad. A dollar for each of his wives.
Germany caters to Islam. Literally (see After Islamic Refugee Influx, Germany Fights... To Keep Sausage on the Menu?!). Their own people though? Not so much. German citizens can thank leftist, political correctness for that...
