The trial of prolific sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s number two Ghislaine Maxwell is underway, and as one would expect, the details of her activities are depraved.

In recent testimony, one victim, who went by the pseudonym Jane, described how she was sexually groomed by the pair of abusers, testifying that Ghislaine Maxwell watched "and on occasion partook in sexual acts with victims alongside infamous financier."

The grooming behaviors quickly escalated to sexual assault (read: statutory rape), during which Maxwell played an active role. Jane was only 14 years old when the abuse began—abuse which ranged from masturbating in front of her to fondling, all the way to group “orgies.”

Maxwell has been charged with multiple counts of enticing minors and sex trafficking and faces up to 80 years in prison. If found guilty, she deserves far more than 80 years, but I suppose it will have to do.

This testimony follows the release of information contained in filings with the court containing a litany of high-profile individuals and companies linked to Epstein and his child sex-trafficking operation. Whether these people will be brought to answer for their connections has yet to be seen, but if they are connected to behavior like that described by Jane, there’s no doubt that they should.

Epstein was arrested back in 2019. After which, he was found dead in his cell—the circumstances surrounding his death have spawned speculations and conspiracy theories, all of which sound far more possible than the actual facts surrounding his demise.
