Gina Carano Finds New Way to Trigger Liberals, Credits 'Fat Shaming' for Her MMA Career
Gina Carano, prior to becoming a cancel culture warrior and anti-woke ingénue, was the first face of women's MMA. And she credits a little Thai man fat-shaming her for it. She was chatting with Joe Rogan, who himself has gone off on fat-shaming rants. Her journey to MMA started when she went to a gym with her then-boyfriend.

"I would go in [the gym]. And Master Chan--I would go in there, and I'm still drinking and partying and everything--and he's like, 'Oh baby, you're fat. You need to lose weight.' That didn't come from my dad. That came from this Thai man who has nothing to gain from my life. So... I immediately signed up for twenty lessons."
Turns out, Thais are really good at fat-shaming you into training. And it worked. Carano went on to a 7-1 MMA record.
Carano's point about Italians is spot on, too. They'll fat shame you, then sit you down at a table with nothing but carbs.
"Fat Shaming" is a woke thing. It started with fat people who didn't want to do anything to stop being fat getting upset at others for making fun of fat people. But then that wasn't enough, and the simple act of discussing health and fitness was considered "fat-shaming." Finally, science got ignored, and we're supposed to believe that being fat is healthy.
Carano's right. Having people who care about your health and well-being is a good thing and fat-shaming works. It's working for me right now.
I exercise all the time, but you wouldn't know it by looking at me because I eat and drink like sh*t. That was my line to laugh off being an insane amount overweight. I said it once with a group of friends I hadn't seen in a while, and they didn't find it as funny as I did. I also had a cookie in each hand.
I'm down fifteen pounds since then. Fat-shaming for the win!
