Watch: Girls basketball team forced to forfeit after THREE players were injured by a six-foot dude who claims to be a girl
It's a tale as old as time. Guy can't compete against guys. Guy "transitions" to a girl. "Girl" now dominates other girls on the court and sometimes injures them. That's what happened in Massachusetts, where a female basketball player who was born with a penis injured so many real girls on the other team, they were forced to forfeit the game.
It was KIPP Academy vs. Collegiate Charter School of Lowell. KIPP had the dude playing for them. Collegiate had playoffs to think about and had to make a decision after the THIRD player went down with injury.
"The bench was already depleted going into the game with the 12-player roster having four players unable to play. When the coach saw three more girls go down in the first half leaving him with five players, he made the call to end to end the game early."
"Once the third was injured, the remaining five expressed concern to him about continuing to play. The players feared getting injured and not being able to compete in the playoffs."
Trans-identified male player for Kipp Academy in MA injured 3 girls before half time causing Lowell Collegiate Charter School to forfeit.
A man hitting a woman used to be called domestic abuse. Now it's called brave.

In response to girls fearing for their safety, the school issued a response that reiterated their values of both "inclusivity" and "safety" for all students. Even though the incisively takes precedence over the safety. "We take the standards set by the MIAA and our Board of Trustees seriously and strive to uphold them on and off the court. We also follow the guidance from the MIAA and state laws regarding equity and access for all student-athletes."
Focus on words like "standards" and "safety." Because last November, in Massachusetts, under the same MIAA guidelines, a high school athlete had her teeth knocked out in a high school field hockey game high school athlete had her teeth knocked out in a high school field hockey game when a male player on the other team shot the ball in her face. The male player was taking a shot on goal. Instead, he nailed the female player in the face so hard you can audibly hear the impact. The girl immediately dropped to the ground, crying in pain.
It's reported that male player (#2 for Swampscott) knocked the teeth out of female player. Males are allowed to play on female teams in MA because of the "equal play act"

Here's the thing. That male athlete DOESN'T identify as a girl. He identifies as a boy and uses a loophole in THE SAME MIAA GUIDELINES to play girls' field hockey since there isn't a boy's team.
Swampscott field hockey player #2 is a male.
It's reported he knocked out the teeth of a Dighton-Rehoboth female player tonight. See 57:42: https://t.co/epRZz7A5ib…

It is because he isn't identifying/pretending to be a girl that there were calls to have something be done about this. The school superintendent said in a letter: "This injury required hospitalization. The player, her family, teammates, and coaches remain in my prayers. The shot was taken by a male member of the Swampscott girls’ field hockey team. While I understand that the MIAA has guidelines in place for co-ed participation under section 43 of their handbook, this incident dramatically magnifies the concerns of many about player safety."
Since the Massachusetts field hockey player identifies as a dude, because -- and I can't stress this enough -- he's a dude, it is not transphobic to acknowledge the biological reasons why boys are naturally stronger than girls. Nor is it intolerant for Supervisor Runey to call for a rule change as much as it's just common sense.
In the case of the basketball game, or other sports where girls are getting concussed, the male on the other team identifies as a female. Therefore, "her" equity takes precedence over the other players' safety. This is expected to make sense in 2024.
