Global warming enthusiasts tout how much they love science while blaming non-science things for global warming, and vice versa (see Green Party Blames Delayed Chicago Cubs Game on… Global Warming and Trump’s Border Wall is Bad… For The Environment). But blaming man-made global warming for Brexit? Such wanton idiocy can only be the work of one dunce: Al Gore.

The logic pretzel he twists himself into here is impressive...

Mr Gore said the principle cause of the Syrian Civil War had been the worst drought in 900 years, which forced 1.5 million people to move from the countryside to the cities.

The resulting war brought more refugees into Europe, causing political instability and helping convince some in the UK to vote to leave the European Union.

One of the most controversial Leave campaign posters showed a queue of refugees stretching into the distance with the caption “Breaking point: The EU has failed us all”.

This collision between the power of industrial civilisation and the surprising fragility of the Earth’s ecosystem now poses a great danger that could even threaten the future of human civilisation itself.

Kay. Lemme see if I got this straight: climate change of the cycles led to a drought. The drought, not Islamic infighting, begat the Syrian Civil War. The civil war begat a Muslim migration crisis consisting of mostly military-aged men to all Europe, including Germany, France and the UK. The UK had enough of the EU dictating what they could and could not do, one of those issues being the Syrian Migration of Mostly Military-Aged Men who Have a Penchant for Raping the Ladies and Blowing Themselves Up or Else Running People Over with Trucks (I know it's a long name, thanks for bearing with me) which begat Brexit.

Ergo, climate change of the global warming hot hots begat Brexit.

They should make pills for this.

A few reminders for Al Gore and his acolytes. Climate changes on its own. There was a time when most of North America was covered in ice. Most commonly referred to as "the ice age." More recently it was so warm in the UK, wine was produced. As in the UK was so warm, grapes were a crop. Grown on actual vines. This was known as "the medieval warming period" which lasted a few hundred years. Of note, neither the ice age nor the medieval period boasted great industry. Translation: no big machines which Mr. Gore likes to blame for changing climates. The world population was also a tiny fraction of what it is now. And yet the Earth had a lovely warm period about 1000 years ago, with nary an SUV or oil refinery to be found.

But okay, industry led to drought which led to war which led to Brexit. There was an old lady who swallowed Al Gore, I don't know why she swallowed Al Gore, perhaps she'll fry...
