"Safe, legal, and rare" has gone the way of the dodo bird. It died out so long ago that Democrats don't even bother paying the notion lip service. These days, they're chastising big tech for even allowing alternatives to be found on the internet. Mothers MUST be directed to abortion clinics. Everything else is unacceptable.

Reason reports that twenty-one senators sent a letter to Google CEO Sundar Pichai regarding the appearance of pro-life pregnancy crisis centers in internet searches for abortion.

God forbid mothers experiencing an unexpected pregnancy be given options other than murdering their child. That would be terrible. At least that's what this rather long list of senators believes. The group includes such popular leftists as Dianne Feinstein, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Amy Klobuchar, and they wrote to Pichai to voice their concern "regarding disturbing reports that Google has been directing users who search for abortion services towards anti-abortion 'fake clinics,' also known as 'crisis pregnancy centers.'"

They "call on" (read: demand) that Google "limit the appearance of anti-abortion fake clinics or so-called 'crisis pregnancy centers' in Google search results."

These Democratic senators aren't the only ones voicing a particular hatred for crisis pregnancy centers. Radical leftist organizations like Jane's Revenge have been gleefully firebombing such clinics nationwide without nary a peep from the Democratic side of the aisle to denounce the use of violence. Then again, the left also all but buried the story about a pro-abortion leftist attempting to assassinate a sitting Supreme Court justice, too.

Google is all about toeing the Democrats' line. However, there's no official word just yet regarding a move to capitulate to the demands of these lawmakers. Then again, this is big tech. There probably won't address the subject publicly. Just enact a policy to restrict access to any options outside abortion.
