Gov. Cuomo didn't read the NC law as much as he read headlines about the law. But he did see an opportunity to play a hardball game of politics. The game doesn't effect him, but it does effect these kids...

Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) in upstate New York has a solid baseball team this season. In fact, player Kyle Bestle believes “I think we have a real shot at going to the national championship.”

It would be the culmination of years worth of work, practice, and dedication to reach the nationals. A dream come true. Alas, it is not to be. Why? Is it because of a player injury? An unfortunate outcome in the qualifying tournament?

Not quite.

The HVCC baseball team will not be going to nationals because of Governor Cuomo’s ban on non-essential travel to North Carolina, a state with the radical notion that bathrooms should be separated by biological identification.

So because Andrew Cuomo thinks he has a future in national politics, these students may wind up getting screwed out of a once in a lifetime opportunity. Because North Carolina said "Men should pee in the men's rooms," a baseball team cannot play in a tournament. Sorry, but this is becoming just one thing...

Now some of you may wonder how the heck Cuomo can ban non-essential travel to North Carolina. It's a good question. He can't ban private citizens from doing anything, much less traveling. But because this college is a STATE college, it receives state money. That's how Cuomo can be a donglebrain about it.

But here's a fun little tidbit for you. That same Governor Cuomo who's all hurty feeling about North Carolina insisting men pee in men's rooms? Well, he recently visited Cuba, on the state's dollar.

New York State Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin chastised Cuomo’s “political grandstanding” for possibly preventing “these athletes from participating in a national tournament.”

“Cuomo goes to Cuba and embraces and praises a Communist dictator that jails and/or kills gay people,” McLaughlin wrote, “but a baseball team can’t go to North Carolina because of a law that says use the bathroom of your gender.”

He concluded, “The hypocrisy of Cuomo never ceases to amaze me.”

But that's leftists for you. They're hypocrites. They want political points, and damn anyone who gets in their way. Especially cis-gendered people who would just rather pee in a safe space where only their other co-same-gendered people are also peeing (read This Father Issues Epic Takedown of Target's 'Bathroom Policy').

Remember this story when the left claims the mantle of love, tolerance, and diversity. In the end they're just hateful bullies who want to dictate how the rest of us think, live and enjoy our lives (read Dear Leftists: Actually, Yes, the Constitution IS the 'Be All, End All').
