"No climate justice on occupied land": Insanity ensues when man gets upset Greta Thunberg is TOO POLITICAL at climate rally
Greta Thunberg should stick to what she knows. She is very good and lecturing people about the planet and being insufferable. The problem is since she graduated from the high school she dropped out of (or, was "on strike") she is attempting to rally around whatever progressives are angry about that week. And at least one person is upset at her getting too political. He told her as much at a recent climate rally.
You see, he was there to listen to people complain about the climate. He was not there to listen to people complain about Jews. That's getting political as opposed to ranting about the planet being on fire and... just watch.
She was all like, "As a climate justice movement, we have to listen to the voices of those who are being oppressed and those who are fighting for freedom and for justice. Otherwise, there can be no climate justice without international solidarity."
The man was all like, "I have come here for a climate demonstration, not a political view." That makes as much sense as "Queers for Palestine."
A climate demonstration IS a political view. It would be like going to a Black Lives Matter rally and getting upset when they get antisemitic. Or going to a Woman's March and getting upset when they get antisemitic. Or going to a Gay Pride parade and getting upset when they... I think you get the point.
Greta told the man to calm down, before chanting *checks notes* "No climate justice on occupied land?!"
Dafuq is that supposed to mean?
This falls under the dinkuses marching with a "you can have reproductive justice without a Free Palestine" sign in New York City. It was NYC. You could put the sign down, duck into a clinic to abort your choice no matter what trimester, and start protesting again.
When Greta says, "No climate justice on occupied land," meaning what exactly? There can be no global climate justice as long as Israel exists? Or is it that as long as Israel exists, Israelis don't deserve climate justice?
"No climate justice on occupied land" is a nifty ten-word (or under) answer. I'd love to hear Greta attempt to give me the next ten words.
