College wrestling bros get mauled by grizzly bear, live to wrestle again with a badass photo as a souvenir
If there is a better example of guys being dudes than two college wrestlers squaring off against a bear, because one bro wouldn't leave the other bro behind, I defy you to find it. Brady Lowry and Kendell Cummings wrestle at Northwest College in Cody, Wyoming. They are lucky to be alive. They also have one badass photo to show off, proving that Josh Allen and Eric Bischoff are not the only examples of grit to come out of the Equality State.
Out of all the bear attack stories we've had this year -- yes, there have been more than one -- this is the most hardcore.
Wrestlers are truly built different.

The two teammates were hiking around Shoshone National Forest searching for antlers shed by elk and deer. Not to sound regionally ignorant, but I guess that's something people do. Out of nowhere, a grizzly bear appeared and had a bug up his ass about something. The bear went right for Lowry, who shared the story with Good Morning America.
The only thing I could yell is: 'Bear! Bear!' I just knew I had to protect my head and just kind of fight for life, you know -- it's life or death.
Cummings, who was hopefully wearing his brown pants, refused to leave his teammate behind. He attempted to save Lowry from certain death. The bear thought that was cute.
It knocked me onto the ground and then, with its head, pushed me on the ground all the way up against the trees and then kind of pinned me up there and it was attacking me. I was putting my hands in its mouth and stuff, so it wouldn't be chewing on my neck and everything.
Both guys are lucky the bear got bored and walked away long enough for them to call 911 and get to safety. They were treated for what were somehow not life-threatening injuries, and have already been discharged from the hospital.
If you live in the Cody, Wyoming area and see Brady and Kendall out and about, your job is to make sure they don't pay for drinks. Your job is also not to disrupt them as they share the story with any attentive lady friends enamored by their bravery.
