The left has this habit of twisting arguments like a circus contortionist. Often, they'll twist to the point of proving their own position false (read Black Man Conducts Dress-Up Experiment to Prove ‘Racism.’ Does the Opposite…). Take, for instance, the issue of gun violence. Everyone knows leftists have an unrivaled hatred of the lead-slingers. The Guardian decided to pull out the numbers on gun violence and unwittingly screwed their whole argument...

The nonprofit Gun Violence Archive, which began tracking shootings and gun deaths using media reports, began to collect geolocation data for each incident – allowing, for the first time, a nationwide look at the precise geographic concentration of gun homicides.

We found that the toll of gun violence in America is dramatically concentrated. Thousands of cities and towns in the United States saw gun homicides in 2015. But the majority of them suffered only a single incident.

Half of America’s gun homicide victims died in just 127 cities that represent less than a quarter of the nation’s population. Within those cities, gun homicides were further concentrated in tiny neighborhood census tracts that had seen multiple gun homicide incidents.

So, gun violence is concentrated in gang-ridden cities where nobody gives a rat's keister about the law? Nice rhetoric, Guardian. Way to shoot yourselves in the foot, there. Puns. Rhymes with guns. These are the jokes.

Not even the CDC reports they themselves commissioned can convince leftists their arguments are a bunch of bull-hickey. Numbers, data, evidence all tend to show a common thread: bad guys with guns kill other people. Good guys with guns kill bad guys with guns. Sure, we can insert some data here, but the trend isn't going away. So long as bad guys continue being bad guys, they'll continue breaking the law. Data will show areas which house more of these law-breakers have more laws broken.

Here's what you should look out for, so be wary: since actual numbers continually prove the left is on the wrong side of the barrel, the left might massage its data to fit its narrative. Nope, this isn't going out on the shaky limb. I draw this conclusion by examining how liberals have fudged numbers they find displeasing as they relate to "climate change of the global menopausal hot hots." The left will continue trying to keep you from packing, and their attempts will continue to flop like a flounder. But, we won't lie, it is fun to debunk them.
