There is no logical reason as to why the United States of America should not rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. Unless, one is worried about hurting the feelings of Mexican officials, which would be pretty pathetic, as these people don’t give a crap about the feelings of Americans.

Trump announced that he plans to name the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and it’s unclear why it took this long for a POTUS to finally do that.

According to Fox 5:

"Pretty soon, we're going to change because we do most of the work there, and it's ours. We're going to be changing. Sort of the opposite of Biden, where he's closing everything up, essentially getting rid of $50 to $60 trillion worth of assets. We're going to be changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, which has a beautiful ring that covers a lot of territory. The Gulf of America. What a beautiful name. And it's appropriate," he said.

The United States has tiptoed around other countries' feelings for far too long and in return, we get taken advantage of.

It’s time a leader showed these people who are in charge. It’s not like Cuba or Mexico are going to do something about it. Like, be for real.

It also does not make sense that it’s named after Mexico, as the United States has jurisdiction over half of those waters. So while Mexico can barely even run its own country, there is no reason this section of water should be named after them.

He also confirmed he would not rule out military force to take control of Greenland and the Panama Canal.

"I’m not going to commit to that," he said, when asked if he would rule out the use of the military. "It might be that you’ll have to do something. The Panama Canal is vital to our country." He added, "We need Greenland for national security purposes."

This year is getting off to a great start and the people of Greenland will likely only benefit from this. Thus, we can finally be confident that it's time to make America great again.
