You already know the left is intolerant. You are not surprised a gun-owner, who confronted Beto O'Rourke at a rally, was booed, hissed, and maybe even spat upon. But the left doesn't always know what it is. They believe they're tolerant, loving, peaceful. For the sake of those stupid saps, watch this video:

To his credit, Beto O'Rourke himself seemed polite and tried to shut up his own crowd. Who kind of sort of obeyed as long as it suited them.

For the record, I'm not holding Beto accountable for his supporters' behavior. That is a terrible precedent to set. But when the left constantly lectures the rest of us about rhetoric and civil discourse, should they not set an example? Should liberal leaders not encourage civility from its mob? If the left claims to be the pinnacle of open-mindedness, should not its members be open to new ideas?

You already know the answer to those questions. It is not of a conservative I ask them.

The video showed one concerned American confronting a man who wishes to represent her and every other American, about her right to self-defense. The leftists in the crowd couldn't give her the common courtesy of silence so she could even finish her question. This crowd embodies the leftist mob: drowning out any kind of opposition to its mission.

If civil discourse is what the left wants, if a toning down of rhetoric is what the doctor is ordering, I suggest "progressives" take some serious lessons in common decency.

But you and I both know they won't.
