Magic: @TheQuartering | Crowder goes in-depth on culture and politics with Jeremy Hambly
Crowder sat down with Jeremy Hambly, aka TheQuartering, for a special Ash Wednesday episode. The pair discussed war stories, big tech censorship, getting canceled, manhood, and so much more.
There’s been a culture war on man for quite some time now and TheQuartering was born out of that after Hambly was assaulted by a random ANTIFA member at a gaming convention, causing him to go “all in the culture war.”
“People were saying all this bad stuff about men and nobody was defending them,” Hambly said.
"It existed beneath the surface in higher education and the media for a long time and it's just that now they are flat-out saying it in every single sitcom and every single commercial," Crowder said.
Currently, the system is stacked up against men, especially when it comes to things like domestic assault and divorce court.
"Men are at a major legal disadvantage," Hambly said. “I have friends in their 30s who have good-paying jobs in the trades. They make six figures and they've completely given up on finding a woman. It breaks my heart."
There is a growing number of men who flat-out refuse to get married.
“Too many men have checked out," Hambly said.
“Before you have federal governance and state governance, you need to have self-governance, and that's the nuclear family and that's why the left attacks it,” Crowder said. “Marriage is a bedrock - it's foundational.”
It's also increasingly becoming more difficult for one parent to stay home while the other works.
"That's already putting the relationship in a weird stressful spot," Hambly said. "Some women would be happier not going to work every day."
"The truth is that at any point she can change her mind and they're afraid. In my opinion, the problem lies in no-fault divorce," Crowder said. "It's like giving one side nukes...and that is not what a relationship should be but it has been perverted by the state."
According to Psychology Today, the number of individuals who have never been married has increased to at least 35 percent."
"Western Civilization is in trouble," Hambly said. "Men are already choosing not to marry."
