In the past few years, leftists have made it clear they aren't too fond of America. Understatement of the year, I know (see Dear Democrats: Yes, You Really Do Hate America...). This election cycle has exposed the left's trifling bitterness. Also their burning hatred of flags. Pesky wind flappers of malice!

Since Trump won, angry social justice sphincters have been scuttling about throwing anti-America tantrums and Molotov cocktails. Their latest target is the flag. No, not the confederate one. Not even the "Don't tread on me" flag. Just the ole Stars and Stripes. Take it away, Hampshire College...

Hampshire College in Massachusetts has announced that it will no longer fly the U.S. flag at all in response to an incident where the flag was taken down and burned. The school responded to Trump's victory by keeping the U.S. flag at half-staff, as if in mourning. Then on the night before Veteran's Day, somebody took the flag down and set it on fire...

While acknowledging that getting rid of the flag may be “especially painful” for military veterans and their family members, Lash said he hoped doing so would “enable us to instead focus our efforts on addressing racist, misogynistic, Islamophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic, and anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and behaviors.”

Turns out university staff chose to cave to their whiny, fire wielding student babies. Bursting their safe spaces is "problematic." Getting rid of the flag? Easy. Toss it out with the phantom white privilege. It's the tolerant thing to do, after all.

What's so triggering about the banner of freedom, you ask? Clearly these dunderheads have a problem with more than Old Glory itself - it's the mean stuff the flag stands for. Like the country and taxpayers who fund their degree. In the art of medieval calligraphy, mind you.

Remember when universities were heralded as the land of higher education? Ah, how times have changed (see Dear High School Students: Don't Go to College. No Seriously...). This is simply the latest move by leftists to turn campuses into a liberal utopia. One where everyone acts and thinks the same. Because diversity.

Colleges are coddling the students with play-doh parties and barring conservative speakers from campus. Education has been caught in the left's clutches for a while, but it's reached a fever pitch following the recent election. Liberal universities are an ulcer on the underbelly of education. Now including classes on "how to stop white people," and waaay less American flags. Out with the old and in with the new.

It's a brave, new, inclusive America they're creating. But you're not invited...
