Culture WarsOctober 12, 2023
CEOs are lining up to deny pro-Hamas Harvard graduates from getting jobs in the future. Good.
In the aftermath of Hamas' terrorist attack against Israel -- where babies were beheaded, and women were raped and murdered in the streets -- a number of Harvard student groups put out a letter blaming Israel for Hamas beheading babies and raping women. When I say in the aftermath, I mean less than a day after news of the attack broke. The students, if they were so anti-Israel, could have just said nothing. They chose option B instead.
Those students are now facing cancel... I mean CONSEQUENCE culture as CEOs are lining up to deny them future employment.
It started with hedge fund manager Bill Ackman. His industry might be interested in Harvard graduates, with the assumption graduating from Harvard makes them smart or something. Ackman is making a list and checking it twice.
Other CEOs are lining up to agree that if you are pro-baby beheading and woman raping, you might not be a good fit for their company.
I completely agree, and have been wondering the same the last couple of days if/when the names of these students would come out. Our words/statements have repercussions.

Here's where the cries start, "But Brodigan, you conservatives are anti-cancel culture! Hypocrite, much?" Yes, as a general concept, people should not have their lives destroyed over saying a dumb thing. Our feeling that way has yet to stop the Left from attacking people over every shameful tweet or text message from a decade ago. As we've seen with Bud Light, it's time to play by the left's rules.
In this case, it's rules that HARVARD plays by.
2019 feels like a generation ago, but Kyle Kashuv came up at the same time David Hogg became a thing. After a shooting at their school, Hogg found fame and fortune as an anti-gun activist. Kashuv, who supports the Second Amendment, disagreed. And because he spoke out against the Left, they dug up a few text messages where he used a slur joking around with friends.
Three months after being accepted to Harvard, the institute of "higher" "learning" canceled the teenager over things he said when he was sixteen.
If current Harvard students, most of whom who are adults who should know better, wanna speak out in favor of terrorism it is their right to do so. But remember, the First Amendment guarantees their right to speak. It does not guarantee companies need to give them jobs.
Nope. They aren't going to stop until there's a lot more of their proverbial heads on pike. Hoist all of them, make them own their rules. pic.twitter.com/ymk5AD6pq9

These are the rules the Left wants to play by. They can all choke on them.
