To be a Christian means to believe that Jesus Christ is Savior; without that premise, the religion ceases to exist. However, Rev. Brent Hawkes may not have gotten the memo, as he believes this is too offensive to Muslims, Jews, and other religions.

Wow. The disregard for devotion to faith is astonishing, as he stands there and paints himself like his intentions are anything but Satanic.

Firstly, his justification of what he says by claiming it’s “his definition” already proves that he has no intention of interpreting God’s intention, as he has basically informed his church that he is his own God.

Secondly, what if other religions offend Christians? He has proved he couldn't care less about that, as he blatantly labels all religions correct while labeling the one he pretends to preach as false.

He then proceeded to claim the entire religion is a “stumbling block” for people to attend services as if that means anything significant.

How did he miss the mark that badly? Truth often offends people who defy God so it makes no sense as to what he’s trying to get at.

According to his LinkedIn, Hawkes is the Founder and Executive Director of Rainbow Faith and Freedom. This apparently “leads a movement to confront and reduce religious-based LGBTI discrimination around the world.”

So he not only tries to steer people away from the true meaning and purpose of Christianity but he wants to condone sin as if it’s the morally superior thing to do. To say this man has his priorities confused would not describe it, as he’s doing exactly what he intends to do, which is steer people away from God. And there is nothing more evil than that.
