Modern feminists care about a lot of things: free stuff, hating on men, leg hair - to name a few. The wellbeing of women? Not so much (read Dear Feminists: Stop Lying. You Really Don't Care About Women.). But long ago there was a time when feminism was a legitimate pro-woman movement. Of course, this was before the feminist movement became hijacked by neon-pitted kobolds. A few real feminists still linger about today (see Courtney's column on actual feminism). Some of which recently gathered to discuss the issue of transgenderism and how it's hurting women...

I recognized that this new policy that they were asking us to embrace and adopt was basically the equivalent to rolling out a welcome mat for any man who decided he wanted to come in and access our spaces.

When gender identity wins, women always lose. It's not because anybody up here has any kind of bigotry in their hearts. For too many of us, it means we get silenced and told that our needs don't matter, and unless we're willing to compromise those... we're unloving.

What is happening with gender identity issues, is that women are getting trampled and ultimately erased.

This is an issue we here at LwC have long been shamelessly complaining about. The left claims the mantle of feminism and "caring" about women. While opening our lady spaces to any Tom, Dick and rapist who saunters on by. Also giving uniquely feminine roles to bearded dudes. And letting hyper-athletic 7 ft tall man-gods beat us up (see Dear Transgender Fallon Fox: No, You Don't Get to Beat Up Women... and Oregon Schools Officially Lets Boys Play Girl Sports. Because Transgenderism...).

Kudos to the women and man in the Heritage panel above. They're calling SJWs out on their crap, while also reminding the world what it looks like to actually defend the safety and sanctity of womanhood.
