It turns out that it is not a smart business move to make decisions in exchange for woke virtue signaling points. Subsequently, as we all know, when you go woke, you go - you know the thing!

Hertz announced that it will be selling 20,000 used EVs because of the insanely high cost of repairs.

According to Spectrum News:

"Hertz rental car is selling off 30% of its electric vehicle fleet, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The 20,000 vehicles will be sold from its U.S. fleet over the course of 2024 and represent multiple makes and models, according to Thursday’s filing.

We took a bold move and are making a strategic adjustment to our fleet,' Hertz CEO Stephen Scherr told CNBC Thursday morning. 'It’s really to respond to the reality, which is we’re trying to bring supply in line with demand, and we’re addressing a cost issue that happens to be related to the EVs in the context of damage and damage costs.'

The news comes just a couple years after Hertz announced it would buy 100,000 Tesla Model 3s in late 2021, making it the biggest single order for electric vehicles ever. Many of those models are now being sold through the Hertz website for as little as $18,000 — or $14,000, after applying the $4,000 federal tax credit for used EVs."

Wow. Is Hertz really putting profit over efforts that would control the weather? How can they do this? Don't they know that more EVs will make the direction of the wind blow the way the government demands it to? This is science. Why are they not following it? They are putting us all at risk of global catastrophe.

Jokes aside, this is one of the many reasons you should never buy into the woke climate cult. It is because the weather prophets don't even believe the load of crap they spout. If Hertz truly thought the sun would explode if we did not all do our rain dances, they would not be switching back to gas-powered cars. You know that. I know that. And they know that. But they will never admit it.

In the intro of the video, the reporter said one of the benefits of an electric vehicle is that you no longer have to make that trip to the gas station. Um, HELLO?!?!? Going to the gas station is so much easier than finding a charging station, waiting in a long line to charge your vehicle, and then waiting another 35 minutes to charge it. What a joke.

Anyway, I am sticking to my 2019 Volkswagen for now since the cost of my new battery should be around $50. And I can live with that.
