It is quite a mystery why so many Hispanic voters are flocking to vote Republican. Shocking, only to Democrats. After all, Democrats are the illegal immigration party. Democrats have spent decades marginalizing taco-eatingLatinx voters as only caring about illegal immigration. Where is the gratitude?

Turns out, as MSNBC of all places tells us, Hispanic voters aren't as race-obsessed as the mayonnaise-looking white progressive activist base wants them to be. And the Hispanic-American voters care about the same issues as every other hyphenated American group does. That includes those of us who don't identify as hyphens.

American Enterprise Institute’s Ruy Teixeira says, in this clip, that liberals assumed Hispanic voters would fall in line after 2020's "racial reckoning" that took place in Park Slope, Berkley, and cable newsrooms. The shift of Hispanic voters (and every other group) started under Donald Trump. And Donald Trump said things like "build the wall" and "bad hombres." The rub is that Donald Trump also said "jobs" and "economy."

You see, Hispanic voters are what Teixeira calls "normie" voters. As in, they care about normal issues and not the social issues that white leftists have assigned to their particular group. "They’re voters who are concerned with upward mobility, with jobs, healthcare, their communities, their kids, you know, effective schools, public safety."

They are voters who were led to believe Democrats would do a good job with those issues. Then Joe Biden got elected, and they said, "Whoops."

So, while liberals keep saying weird things and the media treats Hispanics as Democrat property, Republicans treat them as Americans who have been suffering under this president. As it turns out, that's an effective message. Go figure.
