There are certain groups of people who need to shut their faceholes over how "horrible" America is. One is celebrities, another is multi-millionaire celebrities, and another is multi-billionaire celebrities. If our country sucked as bad as these overprivileged wastes of DNA claim, they wouldn't be allowed to grow into such overprivileged wastes of DNA. So when Oprah wants to carry on about how "white privilege" keeps POCs down, it rings hollow. Sadly, my whiteness prevents me from having much more of an opinion on the matter. The most ridiculous thing in all this is that I view Oprah as an example of how great America is. Did she have more barriers put in her way than a white person would have had? Debatable, but I'll allow it. If there were barriers, she was still able to kick them down and with drive, hard work, and a little hustle. That's how she went from part-time at a local news affiliate to the head of her own empire.

Achieving the American Dream through hard work should be the message. Not holding people back by telling them, depending on what you are, you can't do anything on your own without the government getting involved.
