Former UFC champion Holy Holm finished off her opponent in lopsided fashion. Not known for being overtly political (though one can guess where she lines up), she used her post-fight interview to speak out against the sexualization of our children.

I get the impression she didn't go into the fight planning to speak out after she won. The extent of her statement was, "hey...stop sexualizing kids." Holm didn't give any specific examples. Feel free to fill in the blanks yourself. We had three examples on Friday alone that would fall under sexualizing kids.

Holly was questioned about it at the post-show press conference and doubled down. Claiming she doesn't like getting political, and that this isn't a right vs. left thing.

Here's the rub. I'm glad Holly spoke out. We should stop sexualizing children. That shouldn't be a controversial position to stake, yet few in the public eye will. Where Holm is wrong is that this IS a right vs left issue. The right thinks we should stop sexualizing children. The left thinks you're a homophobe for wanting to stop sexualizing children. And that if we prevent teachers from hiding things from parents, it's literally fascism.

Sexualizing children is one of the legs of the left-wing three-legged stool. The other two are "everything is racist," and "any opposing viewpoint on the internet is misinformation."

Sexualizing children is the cornerstone of the Democrat Party's agenda. This most certainly IS a right vs left issue.
