Crime is so rampant in progressive cities where progressive voters elect progressive politicians, I'm surprised we don't see more vigilantes leaping into action. Security cameras captured one man's heroism in foiling yet another California mugging. As an added treat, we get to hear the man narrating the incident, drawing our attention to details we may have missed. Not unlike your favorite professional wrestler sitting down to share his thoughts on one of his classic matches.

Our story takes place as so many do on the left coast: with a homeless person.

An elderly man was enjoying a meal at one of Hollywood's eating establishments. A member of California's homeless class walked up to the man and (allegedly) assaulted the elderly man, stealing (allegedly) his wallet and his phone. That's when our hero lept into action.

He chased the transient American out of the restaurant and into the streets. After a brief scuffle where the transient American landed a punch or two, he was overpowered by the hero and wrestled to the ground. “He ruined my glasses. They’re destroyed.”

However, not everyone celebrated the heroism:

"You see this dude in the blue? He was being a dick like I shouldn't be doing this. I was like, 'Dude, what the f*ck is wrong with you.'"

The cops and fire department were okay with our hero's deeds. The transient American was taken away where he will be charged and no doubt released without bail. Since, as we said, this is California.

Unclear is if this takes place in Hollywood proper or West Hollywood. The West Hollywood city council recently voted to defund the police department to fund thirty unarmed "security ambassadors" to patrol the crime-infested area.
