Here we go again. A bunch of would-be robbers decided to get their criminal douchebaggery on. I say "would be" because things didn't exactly turn out that way. They weren't counting on the owner packing some serious heat himself. Needless to say, three of them are currently begging St. Peter to let them in.

Five men tried breaking into a house in Texas just before 1 a.m. on Jan. 20, but were shot by the homeowner.

Three of the men were shot dead, with one of the deceased being left in front of the house.

One wounded man fled on foot while the other three left in a vehicle. The car crashed into a pole and a man was later found dead inside. Another occupant fled on foot after the crash and later died.

Officials told KTRK that the homeowner shot the men in self-defense using a fully-loaded AK-47, an assault rifle.

It's funny how these things keep happening, despite theft and murder already being illegal. It only goes to show laws won't stop criminalizing dickweeds. You know what will stop them? Piping hot chunks of 7.62x39 flinging in their direction.

This is the beauty of the Second Amendment. It gives the decent person in the situation the chance to make sure it isn't them who ends up on a slab. Of course, the baddies also have the choice of whether or not they take a dirt nap. All they have to do is stop being baddies.

Lefties would rather the homeowner have nothing to take on the thieving douchenuggets. The left can ban guns all they want, but crooks will still get their grubby paws on them. Better to give decent folks the right to sling some lead themselves than to rip their constitutionally-protected self-defense implements from their hands.
