As gun-toting hero faces grand jury, the taqueria he saved gets robbed AGAIN five days later
A gun-toting hero who saved the day turned himself in. And the restaurant he saved wound up getting robbed less than a week later anyway.
To recap, earlier this week we told you about a punk who f*cked around with a fake gun and found out what happened when a bystander/samaritan had a real one.
Terrible things happen while doing terrible things, especially while trying to rob an entire restaurant with people with a fake gun.

The shooter collected the stolen money from the robber and returned it to the other patrons, police said. Then the rest of the people in the restaurant left the scene before the police arrived.
The shooter has since turned himself in and has been cooperating with authorities. He wasn't arrested or charged with anything, so his identity is being kept private. His attorney issued a statement about his client enjoying dinner when the incident occurred.
In fear of his life and his friend’s life my client acted to protect everyone in the restaurant. In Texas, a shooting is justified in self-defense, defense of others and in defense of property.
The case will go before a Grand Jury when the investigation is done. Short of someone on the jury being a gun control zealot or a social justice activist, the man should be in the clear.
Then, on an unrelated note, that same taqueria was robbed AGAIN five days later. In the middle of the night, a thief broke in and stole $100 from slot machines. Pedo Lopez, owner of El Ranchito #4, says that robberies are common.
The little we do have we take home because it's been several times they've broken in. I feel bad. I don't know how to take care of myself or from which direction we'll be hit.
If I could offer a suggestion, the guy who saved your customers five days early has a pretty good idea of how to take care of yourself.
