Shia LaBeouf's #HWNDU Flag Moves to Rooftop In Liverpool. Gets Captured Again...
Shia LaBeouf's downward spiral of sanity, also known as "He Will Not Divide Us," is a gilded gift from the comedy gods. Round one started in New York, where cult-like leftists would repeat "he will not divide us" over and over again. What they hoped to accomplish is anyone's guess, but it did elicit a few well-placed Ha Ha moments for those who check our coats in the closet of SANE. Anway, it wasn't long before conservative types, ourselves included, crashed the stream and brought even more giggles. So, for round two, the project moved to Albuquerque. The Wild West proved a little too wild. So for their third try, the project moved to a secret location, with the stream only showing a HWNDU flag in the wind. Yeah, that lasted for all of one day.
Which brings us to now. Coming from Liverpool in the UK, the blink-and-you'll-miss-it Season 4 of HWNDU...
For the fourth time, Shia Labeouf and co. claimed the “He Will Not Divide Us” stream had found a permanent home—and for the fourth time they were proved wrong. The Liverpool, UK, location for the protest livestream has been compromised, with members of 4chan’s /pol/ board scaling the roof of the FACT center and attempting to tear down the flag. Labeouf and his artist friends thought the flag was safe on top of a five- story building in a different country, but again they discounted the power of the Internet
Trolls went to extensive lengths to scale the building and try to remove the flag, risking physical and legal dangers.
The stream was cut off before the flag was taken down, leading to speculation the Brits had failed. But later pictures from the ground revealed the flag had in fact been removed from the pole.
Alas, the flag was zip-tied heavily and the capturers were forced to leave it behind. It was the museum who removed the flag and nixed the stream. Nevertheless, we're going to count HWNDU: Liverpool as another victory for the trolls.
Shia LaDouche and friends probably thought they were clever for moving the flag outside the US. They undoubtedly failed to recognize that trolling is an international sport, just like soccer. Minus the boring. Shia expected the trolls to recoil in fear and curl in the fetal position once he upped the stakes. He couldn't have been more wrong. Urban rooftop location and upgraded security measures, eh?
When is Shia going to realize that his "art project" has about as much artistic value as his own acting career? Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull ring any bells? At this point, "He Will Not Divide Us" only exists for the amusement of right-leaning internet trolls, trying to annoy Shia into a straight jacket...and succeeding magnificently. Maybe, for Shia's mental health's sake, it's time he takes a hint and accepts defeat. But until then, we're all anxiously awaiting round 5.
Bring it on!
