You may have noticed ICE doing its job lately. It's a refreshing change of pace from Obama's immigration policy of placing his hands on his rear then sitting upon them (see Five Shocking "Free" Things Illegals Get Under Obama That You Don't...). Such drastic changes aren't welcomed by everyone. The more effective ICE is, the more vilified it gets. All the while, leftist butter balls bend over as far as their feeble muscles allow to ensure illegals are catered to. Because it's the tolerant thing to do.

The ICE Director sees things a little differently...

Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Thomas Homan said at a White House press briefing Wednesday that ... people who enter the U.S. illegally "should not be comfortable" and instead be "concerned that somebody is looking" for them.

CNN's senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta asked Homan about the consequences of deporting an illegal immigrant mother who brought her children across the border. He then accused Homan of looking at the issue in a "cold and clinical" manner.

So enforcing the law is cold, cruel, the worst thing since Jill Stein's last haircut, etc. It's the worst. So says the left. This serves as a quick reminder that we don't just fail to see eye to eye on the law. Progressives want to do away with the law altogether.

Naturally, anyone who disagrees is promptly labeled the bad guy. But Homan wasn't having any of it.

Homan then ... said he wanted to respond to the notion that he is "cold" or the "devil." He was on the verge of tears as he recounted horror stories during his law enforcement career such as encountering dead children and molested women. He said the organizations behind these awful crimes move "these people looking for a better life," and that when "we endorse the enforcement of immigration laws we bankroll these organizations."

Bingo. The left wants to care about people? Maybe start with the families terrorized by those Cholula chugging cholos skipping across the border (see National Security? Alleged Killer is Illegal Immigrant... Deported 3 Times and Women Hit, Killed by Illegal Immigrant Who Was Deported 8 Times...).

Or better yet, start by educating oneself on what illegal immigration actually looks like. Hint: it's not the fantasy painted at the DNC. Well maybe the fantasy of Bill Clinton or Ted Kennedy. But not the fantasy of every other American who doesn't want to get raped or murdered.
