One thing about leftists is they don't let a good opportunity to use emotional leverage go to waste. Why bother with facts or figures when you can make your opponents look like Grade A d*ckbags. That's what they tried here:

Geez, this Trump guy sounds like a real douchelord. Anyone who would support that guy must be a troop-hating, racist asshat. There's only one problem:
Woodman's tweet left off why the undocumented Perez was arrested: he was caught delivering cocaine to an undercover cop.Perez was sentenced to 15 years in prison after he "handed a laptop case containing cocaine to an undercover officer" in 2008, according to the Chicago Tribune story Woodman linked to. Perez pleaded guilty to delivering less than 100 grams of cocaine, despite having been found with much more. He ultimately served half of that 15-year sentence.
"Prosecutors also pointed out that Perez was given a general discharge from the military after a drug infraction," the Tribune reports.
Oh, but wait. It gets even better:
But Perez was actually targeted for deportation and transferred to an ICE facility back in 2016 when President Barack Obama was still in office.
"B-b-but it's the orange guy who personally signed-off on punting the innocent veteran over the fence. Obama would never even do such a thing!" Cue mass leftist head explosions.
These trolls thought they had a fresh anti-Trump narrative on their hands. Except, it was under their god-king Barry Bike Helmet that we told the coke-pushing veteran to vacate the premises. Like many times before, that narrative is a bust.
This pretty much sums up the left's entire relationship with the Trump. They're too busy lighting their torches and passing out the pitchforks to check if their accusations are even warranted. Teachable moment. Don't be so quick to fall for a sob story.
