Little by little, leftists and the media (but I repeat myself) are slowly beginning to realize they screwed the pooch. Voters have been trying to tell these people they're concerned about providing for their families and being able to leave their homes without being murderized. The media and the left (again, repeating) refused to look out of their DC/NYC bubble and made everything about the January 6th hearings Americans don't care about. Elitists even lashed out at the middle class for daring to put their families first instead of what elitists want them to care about.

Now we get "analysis" like this:

It cites the same NYT/Siena poll that shows independent women swung towards the GOP by THIRTY-TWO points. This part is fantastic:

And independents are significantly more likely to view Democrats as a major threat than Republicans. Although more than 6 in 10 view each party as at least a minor threat, just 23 percent view the GOP as a major threat, while 31 percent say the same of Democrats. Independents are actually more likely to view voting by mail as a major threat to democracy (31 percent) than the GOP.

Yes. Independents view the party that opposes the first amendment, opposes the second amendment, treats parents as domestic terrorists, shut down the country and tried claiming they didn't, and calls their opponents racist as more of a threat to democracy than the party that questions election results... just like democrats do.

So, yes. As Democrats and the media (same thing) ignored the real concerns of the American people in favor of a glorified political spectacle, Americans tuned out the political spectacle. Whoops!
