The Biden Campaign doesn't understand why the American people prefer his opponent more than him. They also don't understand that when prices have gone from $50 to $100, and you tell people you lowered them because they went down to $98, they think you're a nincompoop. Such is the life of Joe Biden these days, and this local report from News Nation shows why.

Democrats: Inflation is down because of our policies.
Reality: Inflation has gone down from bad to *checks notes* still pretty bad.

• Groceries are up 25% since the pandemic.
• Feeding a family of four is an average of $1000 a month.
• Rent/Home Ownership expenses up 5.5%.

Part of the Biden equation is that anything that has gone wrong is because, in the eyes of the people who run him, he is not to blame for inflation going from one and a half percent when he took office to NINE PERCENT after a year of Biden policies. He is only responsible for inflation going down from that nine percent.

It's the Obama technique, where they created a brand new metric to claim he "saved or created" jobs. It was bullplop then too, but Obama fluffers had the luxury of calling anyone who disagreed with Obama a raaaaaacist. Biden does not have that luxury. All that matters to Americans is how much more expensive their lives have gotten thanks to Joe.

Biden's other schtick is "shrinkflation," claiming "corporate greed" is why your Snickers bar is getting smaller. The play there is that they think Americans are too dumb to realize it's been Biden policies making it more expensive to make Snickers bars at every point of production: Ingredients, energy to run the machines, fuel to deliver them to the stores, etc.

Also, when you're grocery shopping, what have you been noticing? That everything is more expensive than it was before Biden? Or that there are five fewer chips in your Pringles container?

Joe Biden isn't the first to take the "yeah, but the fundamentals of the economy are strong" route. He's the first to be this bad at it.
