Moira Smith of the NYPD, died on 9/11/01 after rushing in to the South Tower. She was given Glamour's "Woman of the Year" award. She, by ever measure of the word, was a hero. Fourteen years later that same magazine is giving Bruce Jenner the "Woman of the Year" award for changing his name to Caitlyn Jenner and claiming to be a woman. We covered that. Not happy about this obvious tranny slap in the face, Moira Smith's husband James, sent the award back with a note...

“I was shocked and saddened to learn that Glamour has just named Bruce Jenner ‘Woman of the Year,’” Smith wrote in his scathing missive of the former Olympic track star and Kardashian reality-show patriarch.

“Was there no woman in America, or the rest of the world, more deserving than this man?” Smith wrote. “At a time when we have women in the armed forces fighting and dying for our country, heroic doctors fighting deadly diseases, women police and firefighters putting their lives on the line for total strangers, brave women overcoming life threatening diseases . . . the list of possibilities goes on . . . is this the best you could do?”

We've covered this topic better than opaque pantyhose cover Bruce's man legs. Giving a woman's award to a man is the height of sexism. It is the white male privilege over which the blue-arm-pitted SJW's so fervently chant. Or pink. Or yellow. We're gender neutral with our colors. Yet, where is their outrage over a man being given a woman's award? We'll wait.

Uh huh. This is why we LOL and eye roll over the SJW feminists. It took a widower, a MAN, to reject Glamour, to issue a smackdown over this insulting award. The feminists (in all their shrill glory) are useless. Unless they want to insult men for being men, then you can count on them like hemorrhoids.

Do I really care about some magazine's award? No. It's good fodder for comedy. But to this man, it meant something. Sometimes, in their PC appeasement of every self-professed minority group, leftists (like the one's at Glamour) forget that.

When everyone gets a trophy, the trophy is meaningless. When everyone is declared a special little snowflake... nobody's special. Including our greatest heroes who died for our freedom.

So long as all the dames with tallywhackers have good self-esteem though, right?
