Joe Biden signed the "Inflation Reduction Act" into law on Tuesday. It does absolutely nothing to lower inflation one bit, but the Democrats are celebrating it anyway--probably because it's a giant spending spree on all the stupid climate pet projects they love. They may also be jumping for joy because it includes the funding to hire 87,000 new trained killers--not kidding--who will be shaking down Americans to pay for those climate pet projects.

While Biden and his party of dimwitted Democrats say the IRS agents being hired are only going to target rich people and businesses, the rest of us realize that it's all a bunch of lies. Former IRS whistleblower and lawyer William Henck also went on Fox Business to say just as much.

"The idea that they're going to open things up and go after these big billionaires and large corporations is quite frankly bulls--t. It's not going to happen. They're going to give themselves bonuses and promotions and really nice conferences. The big corporations and the billionaires are probably sitting back laughing right now."

"There will be considerable incentive to basically to shake down taxpayers, and the advantage the IRS has is they have basically unlimited resources and no accountability, whereas a taxpayer has to weigh the cost of accountants, tax lawyers — fighting something in tax court."

And there's plenty of evidence to back up the idea that billionaires are sitting around laughing about how we peons are going to be receiving notices from the IRS soon. If they were truly worried about the government coming after their piles of cash, would they be celebrating the bill?

You know, Mr. Steyer, if you really wanted to hand over wheelbarrows full of money to help combat climate change, there was literally nothing stopping you from writing giant checks. There's nothing stopping you right now. Something tells me he's being just a tad bit disingenuous.

And it wouldn't be a celebration of green policy without our least favorite globalist giving his two cents.

Again, no one has been stopping Gates from just throwing even more money at the very same green projects his Democratic friends like to champion.

The rich people are celebrating because they know they have nothing to worry about. Even if the government were to come for them, they have the money to find a bunch of expensive lawyers and accountants to figure out just how to keep their money safe. And good on them. I'm not a big supporter of the government stealing anyone's hard-earned money. What I am against, however, is a bunch of jagoffs fist-pumping as they watch the armed IRS agents prepare to kick in the doors of those of us making an infinitesimal portion of Gates' income, who don't have the fancy lawyers and dedicated accountants.
