There have been some strange stories regarding the Islamic Terrorist who killed 50 people at an Orlando nightclub, least of which is his Imam being a Donald Trump supporter. These are strange times. But this one about the shooter, who offended his coworkers with his homophobic comments that his employer wouldn't do anything about (because Muslim), being gay himself and frequenting clubs like the one he attacked? Stranger times than many may realize...

A man who was in the same 2006 police academy class told the Palm Beach Post that Mateen once asked him out romantically, and said they had spent time together at gay nightclubs after classes at the Indian River Community College police academy.

Officials say Mateen shot and killed 49 people and injured 53 others at Pulse, a gay nightclub early Sunday morning.

“We went to a few gay bars with him, and I was not out at the time, so I declined his offer,” said the former classmate said, who asked that his name not be used.

To be fair, this is allegedly according to a single former classmate who wanted to remain anonymous, so take it for what it's worth. Which may not be much. I'm just sharing this because if true, the media will most likely ignore the fact that he was gay the same way they are ignoring the fact that he was Muslim and a registered Democrat.

Of course, even though Islam views homosexuality as a sin punishable by death, closeted homosexuality (or used culturally as a form of domination) is quite common in Islam. One of the main religious schools of Islam, Maliki allows for not only gay sex, but specifically with underage boys and girls provided that they are enemy slaves.

Of course pedophelia is rampant in Islam. Even moreso than at Salon.com (Read "Salon Supports Pedophile not Once, but THREE Times" here). But that should come as no surprise, given that Muhammad himself was a serial philandering pedophile. Am I comparing homosexuality with pedophelia? Of course not. Just pointing out that non-traditional sexual behavior is actually much, much more common in Islam than many realize. And, contrasted with western gay culture, is generally much more perverse. The bomb-vest roleplaying can get away from you incredibly quickly.
