An anti-Israel activist was so distraught after seeing a flag with the same colors as Israel. Subsequently, she tore it down, as she believed Israel was committing genocide.

But the only problem with what she did was that it was not the Israeli flag, it was the Greek flag.

The genuine confusion of the staff members is so innocent.

If someone is going to be passionately anti-Israel and accuse an entire country of committing “genocide,” the least they can do is know what the flag looks like.

According to the New York Post:

“The time I mistakenly thought the flag for Greek was for Israel and took the restaurant’s flag down OMG,” the woman, who goes by “Ambamelia,” titled her video, which has gone viral with more than 3.2 million views on TikTok and millions more on X since being posted Tuesday.

Why would anyone post that of themselves? Clearly, she’s what you would call “smart.”

“You know there’s a genocide,” she barks at the cashier inside Efi’s, which bills itself as the “friendliest Greek restaurant in town.”

Do you think this proves that the majority of these “activists” have no idea what they are talking about and are just living in a giant social media echo chamber?

“I don’t stand for Zionism in Montclair!” she says proudly — while holding up a fistful of ripped-down Greek flags.

Even if it was a Jewish flag, she would have done nothing to stop the “stand for Zionism," which makes her even more pathetic.

Two staff members eventually come out, looking confused and embarrassed for the dimwitted hater — until one gently points out that these white-and-blue flags are for Greece.

“What? Really? Oh, I thought it was Israel — my bad,” she says. “Oh s–t … it looked like Israel.”

The fact that she posted this is unfathomable. How can anyone intentionally show the world how naive and dumb they are? Who thinks to themselves, “Oh, let me go and post my worst moment”? Did you think it was possible to be that dumb?

Restaurant owner Efi Mihalis, who was only 18 when she opened the gyro spot in June 2021, confirmed on Wednesday that the bizarre attack was real — but that it had happened on March 11, with no obvious reason why it was only posted online now. Mihalis said she reported the incident to the police at the time.

She sat on it for months and decided it was better to post it than not. That’s incomprehensible. She has no idea why she’s protesting an entire country and people but we can almost be certain she couldn't care less had this not been a social media fad. And the worst part about it is that she sees no issue in vandalizing a small business so long as she gets social media clicks.

You cannot make this level of stupidity up.
